A woman inquired on having 5 cushions recovered for her L-Shaped Sofa. There were 4 that were squared and 1 that was larger to form the shape. The client provided the material and 2 of the foams.

The process began with laying out the material and using the provided cushions as a pattern. The seamstress traced them leaving room for seam allowance and cut out the required pieces for each cushion.

The first step was to install the zippers provided by the client. Next was sewing the side pieces to the larger piece and making sure the corners matched. Once the pieces were all sewn on, the final step was to serge since the material frayed.

The seamstress inserted the larger cushion with the new cover and then the 1 square cushion. When the client was contacted that the covers were ready she brought the other 3 to be covered. The client was pleased with the finished look and turn around time.
