A male client was interested in having cushions made for a crate bench he had custom built. He had wanted 3 large cushions with piping all around on the top and bottom excluding the back.
The client provided the amount of material needed with the 3 foams cut to the specific dimensions. The seamstress supplied the zippers and cording to be used for the piping.
The seamstress measured and cut the pieces for all 3 cushions, including two inch strips on the bias of the fabric used for the piping. Next was installing the zippers for each cushions. After that, the piping was created by using a zipper foot to sew the two inch fabric strips over the cording. Once the piping was made, it was pinned all around the large pieces of the cushions and sewn together. All large faces were ready to have the sides pinned and sewed on. Once all the pieces were sewn and serged together they were ready to have the foam inserted.
The foam filled in nice and snug for each cushion. The client was pleased with the turn around time and excited to place the cushions on his crate bench.
